Warranty Policy for INTU Lithium (LiFePO4) Batteries

This Limited Warranty (“Warranty”) applies to INTU Lithium (LiFePO4) Batteries manufactured and supplied by Nsure Reliable Power Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (“Nsure”), either directly or through its Authorized Dealers, Distributors, or Resellers.

This Warranty provides specific rights to the purchaser and is in addition to any rights available under applicable consumer protection laws.

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Warranty Policy is to define the terms, conditions, coverage, limitations, and procedures applicable to the warranty provided on INTU Lithium (LiFePO4) Batteries.

2. Warranty Conditions

2.1 Warranty Period

The standard manufacturer’s warranty for INTU Lithium Batteries is valid for a period of five (5) years against manufacturing defects from the date of invoice.

Warranty registration must be completed within thirty (30) days from the date of purchase to be eligible for warranty benefits.

2.2 Scope of Warranty

Under this Warranty, Nsure’s obligation is limited solely to the repair or replacement of defective products or components, at its sole discretion, during the applicable Warranty Period.

The warranty covers defects arising from:

• Manufacturing defects in materials.
• Manufacturing defects in workmanship.
• Failure of the Battery Management System (BMS) due to manufacturing defects.
• Performance degradation covered under Section 3 (Performance Warranty).

Additional Conditions:

• Repaired or replaced products shall be covered only for the remainder of the original warranty period.
• Repair or replacement shall not extend, renew, or restart the original warranty period.
• If Nsure determines, upon inspection, that product deterioration is caused by a manufacturing defect and exceeds normal wear and tear, Nsure shall repair or replace the affected product.
• No charges shall be levied for repair or replacement of components covered under warranty during the Warranty Period.
• Nsure reserves the right to repair, refurbish, replace, or provide an equivalent product of similar specifications and performance.
• The purchaser is deemed to have read, understood, and accepted this Warranty at the time of purchase.

2.3 Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall Nsure be liable for:

• Indirect damages.
• Incidental damages.
• Consequential damages.
• Loss of profit.
• Business interruption.
• Loss of data.
• Loss of opportunity.
• Loss due to the use of non-compatible equipment or systems.

Nsure’s total liability under this Warranty shall not exceed the original invoice value paid for the product.

3. Performance Warranty

INTU Lithium Batteries are warranted to retain a minimum of seventy percent (70%) of their original rated energy capacity for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase, subject to the following conditions:

• Maximum one (1) full charge-discharge cycle per day.
• Operation within specified voltage, current, and temperature limits.
• Use only with compatible battery charging inverters / systems.
• Compliance with all operating instructions specified by Nsure.
• Battery operating temperature maintained within recommended limits.

“Original Rated Energy Capacity” refers to the nominal energy capacity specified in the applicable product Technical Data Sheet at the time of manufacture.

Product Design Life
INTU Lithium Batteries are designed for an expected service life of up to ten (10) years under recommended operating conditions. The design life of the product shall not be interpreted as a warranty period.

4. Warranty Exclusions

This Warranty shall be void and shall not apply in the event of damage resulting from:

• Improper transportation, handling, storage, installation, operation, maintenance, or wiring.
• Physical damage due to impact, dropping, abuse, negligence, misuse, or accidents.
• Vehicle accidents or transportation-related damage.
• Unauthorized modification, repair, dismantling, disassembly, or alteration.
• Installation or servicing by personnel not authorized by Nsure.
• Failure to follow Nsure’s Installation SOP, User Manual, or Technical Guidelines.
• Use of incompatible inverters, chargers, solar charge controllers, or electrical systems.
• Incorrect polarity connections.
• Exposure to excessive heat, moisture, corrosive substances, or adverse environmental conditions.
• Lightning, power surges, electrical faults, inrush currents, flooding, fire, explosion, or other external causes.
• Force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters.
• Operation outside specified charging, discharging, or storage temperature limits.
• Overcharging, deep discharge, or charging/discharging beyond specified current limits.
• Tampering with battery cells, BMS, connectors, wiring, serial numbers, QR codes, labels, or warranty seals.
• Removal, alteration, or defacement of identification labels or serial numbers.

Important Note
Lithium batteries may experience self-discharge during extended shutdown or storage periods. Nsure shall not be responsible for damage resulting from prolonged storage in a discharged condition.

5. Warranty Claim Procedure

To initiate a warranty claim, the customer shall:

1. Register the warranty claim through the website https://intu.co.in/warranty-claims/ or by scanning the QR code provided for warranty claims.

Please keep the following details ready:

• Valid purchase invoice.
• Warranty registration details.
• Product serial number.

• After submitting the claim, a ticket number will be generated. You can use this ticket number to track the status of your claim online. Our Support / Service team will contact you regarding the next steps.
• Report the product issue to Nsure Customer Support, if additional information is required.
• Allow Nsure or its authorized service representative to inspect the product, if requested.
• Follow the Return Material Authorization (RMA) procedure, if applicable, as prescribed by Nsure.

Nsure reserves the right to inspect and test the product before approving any warranty claim. The final determination of warranty eligibility shall be at the sole discretion of Nsure.

6. Operating Guidelines

DO’s

1. Use only compatible battery inverters and chargers with appropriate CC/CV charging profiles.
2. Operate the battery within the recommended temperature limits:

   Charging	0°C to 55°C
   Discharging	−20°C to 55°C
   Storage	0°C to 45°C

3. Maintain adequate ventilation around the battery by ensuring a minimum clearance of 0.5 feet (6 inches / 15 cm) on all sides. Ensure correct polarity before making electrical connections.
4. Connect the battery to the compatible inverter before switching ON the inverter.
5. Tighten terminal bolts using appropriate insulated tools to a torque value of 10–15 Nm.
6. Periodically inspect all cable connections and terminals.

DON’Ts

1. Do not spill water or any liquid on the battery.
2. Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight or excessive heat.
3. Do not use incompatible inverters, chargers, or electrical equipment.
4. Do not cut, splice, extend, or modify battery wiring.
5. Do not charge above the specified charging current limit.
6. Do not store the battery in a deeply discharged condition.
7. Do not leave the battery idle for extended periods without recharging.
8. Do not connect the battery while the inverter switch or mains supply is ON.
9. Do not charge or discharge the battery outside the recommended temperature limits.
10. Do not expose the battery to fire, sparks, fireworks, explosive materials, or open flames.
11. Do not attempt to dismantle, repair, or modify the battery pack.

Optimum Performance
Best battery performance is achieved at an ambient temperature of approximately 25°C.

7. Out-of-Warranty Policy

For failures or damages not covered under this Warranty, Nsure may provide chargeable repair or replacement services. Such charges may include:

• Spare parts and materials.
• Labour charges.
• Transportation charges.
• Warehousing charges.
• Inspection and analysis charges.
• Taxes and duties, where applicable.
• Disposal and recycling charges, if applicable.

The customer shall bear all such costs.

8. Statutory Notice

In accordance with the Battery Waste Management Rules, 2022, issued by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Government of India, it is the responsibility of the consumer:

1. To segregate waste batteries from other waste streams and not dispose of them with household or municipal waste.
2. To ensure environmentally responsible disposal of waste batteries through authorized collection centers, refurbishers, recyclers, or entities authorized under applicable regulations.
